It doesn’t matter if you’re cruising around in your Polaris ACE by yourself or with a squad of other machines, a good audio/ stereo system will overpower even the loudest of UTV engines. The Polaris MTX Overhead Audio Pod is a one that many people ask us about. It’s nice overall, but its thickness will make a rearview mirror impossible. PVC and Monster audio gear can also be hooked up in the Polaris ACE. Just drill a hole from underneath and slide in the base of the speaker -- which has a threaded insert. Screwed in the bolt down tight and it's solid. It's easy enough to use a car charger and plugs it into the 12v accessory. And the best part is that no matter how fast you go, you're still able to hear the speaker, even when you floor your rig at full speed. The BT portable pack is another popular UTV sound system because you can move it from one machine to another. It is shockproof and waterproof, perfect for riding, racing, and trail-side parties.
The limits on how big you go with your ACE audio system are nearly endless. You can throw in a simple sound bar, or hook up a couple of crisp and clean speakers with no distortion, Bluetooth controls, an amp, and all waterproof components, all hidden out of site. If you go this route, however, you might want a bigger battery to provide the volts for the added electrical draw of the equipment. The 925 gel battery is a good start, but you may want to replace the rectifier for the stator so you can put out over 60 amps -- the stock is capable of a mere 45 amp output. Be it the Memphis 3” dash mounted speaker kit or a little something that bumps a bit louder from Rockford Fosgate, if you’re looking for quality Polaris ACE stereo accessories, you’re at the right location.
