Whether you’re trying to protect your Polaris RZR RS1 over the winter or during transport, throwing on a properly fitting RS1 cover is always a good idea. Even if you have an enclosed trailer and a garage in which you store your RS1, covers can still prove beneficial. We’ve seen many small critters that have nested up and made the RS1 their home. So if you’re not looking to rent out your RS1 as a rat hotel, putting cover over it is probably in your best interest. Like the OEM Polaris RS1 covers, most canvas covers made to fit the RS1 are UV resistant and made to withstand the elements. A good RS1 cover won’t fade or frey over time, and will obviously be waterproof, weatherproof, and provide full-coverage protection with a tight and proper fit. This is especially important during trailering, where high speeds and strong crosswinds will put any cover to the test. If you’re not running a cover that was specifically sized and stitched to fit the measurements of the RS1, it will likely flap in the wind at best, or blow completely off at worst.
In addition to UTV covers that help prolong and protect your RS1, polishes, glosses, and clear coat sprays can also make your machine pop. High gloss coatings like SC1 are popular among not only RS1 owners, but motorsports enthusiasts and gear heads of all kinds. Many auto shows and other car exhibitions use SC1 to make plastic, vinyl, carbon fiber, and a variety of other surfaces really shine. However, SC1 tends to attract dirt more easily than other coatings, so if you’re not taking your rig to a show or something similar, the VRP Super Shine protectant by the Chemical Guys may be a better option. But regardless of if you’re wanting a cover to keep your rig clean, extend it’s youth, or keep it out of the elements, here at Everything Polaris RZR, we’ve literally got you covered.
