You might have your own go-to company for axle replacements on your Polaris RZR. But which company you choose may depend on your ride style, how often you ride, where you ride, and how much money you’re willing to spend. SuperATV Rhino 2.0 axles -- not to be confused with the inferior Rhino axle -- are a good replacement for an above average rider who likes to take things to the extreme. They come with an 18 month warranty, which, when coupled with the strong brand name of SuperATV, gives the Rhino 2.0s a lot of credibility. Slasher HD is another axle that many riders stand behind. Despite their low costs, they have proven themselves to be high and tough as nails. East Lake axles are popular for their price and warranty. Many Polaris RZR owners would rather break axles than damage other, more expensive, driveline components. But all that aside, they simply hold up well -- arguably the same or even better as Sixity. The warranties on East Lake UTV axles used to be only one year, but they bumped it up a little while back. And you can’t argue on the price of East Lake axles. You can buy two of them for the price of one Rhino 2.0.

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. And I know it hurts to drop $500 on a couple RZR axles, but sometimes, paying more now will help you save more in the future. That being said, there are still good RZR axles out there that are cheap, better than stock axles, and make for great spares to bring along on the trail. 4XPro are a cheaper RZR axle option, and so are Sixty axles -- the latter costing only around $100. After all, most people would agree that taking 15 minutes to pop on a 100$ axle on the trail is far better than exploding your RZR’s differential or transmission. But regardless of what aftermarket axle you choose for your RZR, you might want to consider using a thick, hardened, axle washer. You would do this because regular washers will get crushed, which creates slack and allows the bearing/hub to have play. This then leads to the premature failure of bearings and possibly the brakes if not caught soon enough. They can be found online or at your local hardware store for much cheaper.
