Partial Kits

If you want some undersurface protection in your Polaris ACE but don't require a full-blown skid setup, a partial Polaris ACE skid plate kit is a great option to go with. Not only are partial skid plate kits for the Polaris ACE lighter than their full-coverage counterparts, but they also make pre-season maintenance much easier. Things like the drive shaft slip yokes can be periodically greased from the side, without the need to remove the skid plates. Over time, however, dirt, dust, leaves, and branches can accumulate overtop a full skid plate setup, which not only adds weight, but also leads to rust and poses a serious fire hazard if left unchecked. With partial skid plate kits, however, periodic cleaning becomes much easier. It is still wise to remove the skids and plastics at least once a year for a thorough cleaning, but with a partial Polaris ACE skid plate kit, this can be done quicker and with less effort. It doesn't matter if you've damaged the factory skids on your ACE 500, ACE 570, or ACE 900, or if you're simply looking to upgrade your stock skid plates for better performance, here at Everything Polaris RZR, our partial Polaris ACE skid plate kits won't let you down!

For track riding applications, the lighter your Polaris ACE, is the faster it'll go. Similarly, for longer-distance rallies and marathon races, a lighter Polaris ACE will consume less fuel and can therefore go further on less fuel. Like with most things though, there are trade offs to shedding weight by reducing your underbelly protection. However, with the right partial skid plate kit for the Polaris ACE, you'll have coverage where you need it most, and not where you don't. Some areas underneath your ACE's chassis are quite vulnerable, while others are more than capable of fending for themselves. So if you're not playing in the rocks 24/7 and don't need a full coat of armor on the underside of your rig, a partial Polaris ACE skid plate kit should be more than sufficient.
